About

I specialize in general and applied mathematics, with a focus on Sobolev spaces, properties of mappings, and inequalities. I obtained my Ph.D. at Charles University in Prague under the supervision of Prof. Stanislav Hencl in 2017. Out of my main field, I venture into statistics, optimization, and game theory. Currently, I am a member of the committee of the Czech mathematical society.

Personal Drive

Appling mathematics and revealing processes and reasons is always exciting for me. Stress management is a huge challenge of our time, and participating and helping on this topic is a great opportunity for me both personally and scientifically. In past years I have observed a lot of my friends and students struggle and lose their motivation and focus due to stress, especially during the times of pandemic and forced isolation. I hope the project may contribute to improving the situation.
